Teach Out test in the nature

Tuesday the 23rd of October a group of pupils from Husabø Ungdomsskole in Eigersund municipality joined us for the first test of TeachOut. We were fighting the elements as true Vikings; pouring rain, heavy wind, muddy paths and frozen fingers. The reward; a decent workout and exploring the unique landscape on the most scenic paths in Rogaland county.

Despite some technical challenges the feedback from the pupils are mainly positive. Teaching outdoors is good for both body and soul, and we have made good experiences that will be useful for further development of TeachOut. We are even closer to our goal of developing a didactic tool that can make teaching more interactive for the students, as well as getting the students out of the classroom - get the kids out!
